The invention relates to a switching stage for controlling battery-operated small motors in photographic cameras and winders. The aim and object of the invention are to improve known control circuits by means of a switching stage which can be integrated in a bipolar manner and ensures a high efficiency under all load conditions with small operating voltages. According to the invention, the transistorised motor switching stage is controlled via a differential amplifier which is driven as a function of the load. <IMAGE>
