The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for branching a pressure-medium flow arriving at an inlet to a first continuously operating consumer and a second intermittently operating consumer by means of a three-way flow-control valve, the controlled flow being fed to the second consumer as long as there is a demand there. If there is no demand, i.e. when a predetermined pressure, e.g. in a differential lock, is reached, the entire flow is to be fed to the first consumer, e.g. a power-steering mechanism, and in addition the pressure of the second consumer is to be limited. In order to achieve this, the second consumer is protected by a pressure-relief valve downstream of the measuring restrictor of the three-way flow-control valve, and an operating valve is provided which can be switched by an electromagnet against a restoring force from a first operating position into a second operating position, a connection between the second consumer and the outlet being made in the first operating position and a connection to the measuring restrictor being made in the second operating position. Therefore pressure medium is only taken from the first consumer when the electromagnet is excited. When the electromagnet is not excited, the three-way flow-control valve acts like a resistance valve with a low pressure drop.
