PURPOSE:To enable a front-side metallic plate having a decorated surface such as a metallic glossy surface, etc. and a back-side metallic plate such as a bracket to the joined and fixed firmly with their rear faces opposing to each other by interposing a wire member in the space between the opposite flanges of these plates. CONSTITUTION:When the invention is applied to a corner cover of a window molding of an automobile, the corner cover is constituted of an approximately triangular body 1 corresponding to the front-side metallic plate and having legs 1a and 1b for enclosing the molding end and a bracket 2 to be joined to and fixed on its rear face to oppose to each other. The flanges 11 and 12 bent inward are provided on the opposite sides of the longitudinal peripheral edge of the body 1, while the flange 20 bent outward along the two-dots-dash line is provided on the bracket 2. The body 1 is fixed to the bracket 2 with a wire member 5 interposed like a packing in the spaces defined between the opposite surfaces of the flanges 11 and 20 and of the flanges 12 and 20, the wire member 5 comprising a metallic wire 5a the outer periphery of which is covered with shock absorber 5b such as rubber. |
