(Patent Application P 2915810.9) for forming dumplings from dumpling dough is improved to the effect that the direction of rotation of the portioned dough pieces which are moving forward in a rotating pipe and are being formed is reversed at least once. In the device used for implementing the method, with a rotatably mounted cyclindrical pipe, additional means are provided in order to bring about a reversal of the direction of rotation; the pipe preferably consists of mutually independently mounted and rotating pipe sections. |
