The invention relates to a hydraulic press in the form of a press body as creep coupling for horizontal bearings, as required in bridge construction, in particular in railway bridge construction, between the individual superstructures and towards the abutments. To save long oil pipes and reduce the maintenance times, it is proposed according to the invention to make the press body elastic, e.g. as a reinforced elastomer bearing body.
