PREPARATION:A trans-2-alkenoic acid shown by the formula II is isomerized in an organic solvent in the presence of both hexamethylphosphoric acid triamide and a basic organic alkali metal compound (e.g., methyllithium, etc.) at about -70-about -50 deg.C, to give a compound shown by the formula I easily. |
