The circuit of this frequency divider for using magnetostatic loudspeakers in multi-path systems is derived from the main application No. 2105675. Since a magnetostatic loudspeaker has no centring for the amplitude mid-point (rest position), the latter shifts to the negative side, i.e. backwards, when conventional dividers are used. The arrangement shown in the circuit diagram prevents one-sided filtering out of lower frequencies through symmetrical positioning of the capacitors. The current flows through in each direction R = resistor and C = capacitor in the same order. The filtering of the capacitors is thus always the same, and the loudspeaker vibrates symmetrically about its rest position.
