PURPOSE:To enable efficient utilization of space and prevention of intake air leakage from an engine room by connecting one end of a flexible duct cylinder to an air cleaner and aligning/connecting the other end with its opening, with/into a penetrating hole of a car body panel through a connecting flange. CONSTITUTION:An air intake duct is formed by a flexible duct cylinder 4, a junction tube 6 and a duct tube 5. And the flexible duct cylinder 4 is formed by flexible material and in a duct portion 42, a bellows portion 43 for improving flexibility is formed and a connecting flange 45 is formed surrounding the circumferential edge of an end portion opening 44 at the side of a car body panel 1. When the connecting flange 45 is fixed to the car body panel 1, the end portion opening 44 is fitted into a penetrating hole 12 of the car body panel 1, and a ring-shaped retainer 46 which retains the connecting flange 45 is pressed with a clip 47 thereby it is bound to the car body panel 1. In this way, degree of freedom of an air cleaner 3 from the viewpoint of layout can be increased and at the same time, intake air leakage from an engine room can be cut off surely. |
