PURPOSE:To obtain the slip preventing effect and the dust generation preventing effect by fitting, in slidable ways, a pin body having a mirror-shaped curved surface at the top edge, onto the stud pin whose base part contacts with ply layer and whose top edge projects from the outside of a tire. CONSTITUTION:A number of pins 3 are embedded into the tread 2 of a tire 1. The stud pin 4 of the pin 3 is screwed into a bevel-shaped pin base 7 whose base part contacts with the ply layer 5 in the tread 2 through a concaved part 6. On the outside of the stud pin 4, a pin body 8 whose base part is inserted in slidable ways into the pin base 7 is arranged in slidable ways with the mirror-shaped surface 9 at the top edge exposed to the outer surface of the tire 1. Further, a ring-shaped hook 13 is screwed at the top edge lower part of the pin body 8, and a spring 14 is intalled between the hook 13 and the outer edge of the pin base 7. Therefore, when a car travels on a snow road, the stud pins 14 project, while in other cases, the pin body 8 projects to cover the stud pin 4. |
