The synchronous motor has a permanent magnet rotor magnetised with alternating polarities on its surface. It runs between two staggered stators with pole pieces corresponding to the rotor poles, produced by bending radial projections of laminations on both sides of the stator coil. They are alternately connected to the two stator laminations. The two stator laminations(1,2,9,10) and their pole pieces(5-8, 16-19) cover at the most half the rotor(4) periphery, and both stators are axially on the same piece.
