PURPOSE:To fit and insert a knob automatically by providing an angular displacement driving means for displacing a knob held by a holding means more than such angle as allows fitting of the fitting hole of knob and the shaft. CONSTITUTION:Knobs 3 are fed sequentially by feeding means 6 and fitted to the shaft 1 by an inserter 7. In the inserter 7, the knob 3a projected by a driving means 12 in the feeding means 6 is held by holding means 14 which is fixed to a rolling cylinder 15 for displacing said means 14 angularly around the vertical axis. The rolling cylinder 15 is secured to a supporting member 16 the idle end of which is secured with a guide shaft 17 fixed to a supporting member 19. The rolling cylinder 15 is displaced by the angle exceeding over theta1 to enable fitting of the upper end of shaft 1 into the fitting hole 4 even when the knob position has displaced slightly due to angular displacement of the knob 3. |
