PURPOSE:To decrease the construction cost of an incinerator by making the height of the range of an equipment low by providing an inclined ceiling in the middle part of a free board so that waste can be charged into the center part of a furnace without letting the waste move along the wall of a furnace. CONSTITUTION:An inclined ceiling 11 is provided in the middle of a free board 1 in an incinerator 10, where a waste loader 6 is horizontally provided. The loader 6 is designed so that it can charge waste into the center part of a fluidized bed 2 from an opening 5 at the end of a loader 6, without moving along the wall of a furnace. The height ''h'' of an opening 5 is to be determined suitable for each equipment in accordance with the state of waste to be incinerated. The position of a loader opening 5 is to be determined to come to the center of a fluidized bed 2 by changing the inclination theta of an inclined ceiling in accordance with the change in the height ''h'' of a loader opening. with such an arrangement, the construction cost of an incinerator can be decreased, as well as to maintain the burning state at high efficiency, and to extend the lifetime of a refractories. |
