PURPOSE:To obtain high-speed operation and operation feeling equal to that of a lens section of a large-sized television camera by separating a portable type television camera into a motor driven means and a lens adaptor and providing the motor driven means with high weight to the television camera main body or a tripod adaptor. CONSTITUTION:A lens controller 7 inputs a drive signal of zooming or focusing to the motor driven means 4. The motor driven means 4 uses a servo mechanism to drive the drive delivery means in the adaptor unit 5 through connection means 12, 13 to drive a zoom ring 10 and a focus ring 9, each turning angle is limited in matching with the turning angle of the lens section 2 to protect the lens section 2 in terms of strength. Then the means 4 is mounted attachably and detachably to the television camera main body 1 or the tripod adaptor 6, then the load to the lens section 2 is relieved and the shock produced from a motor or the like in the means 4 is not directly delivered to the lens section. Thus, the motor drive by using the similar servo mechanism to that of the large sized lens section is attained for the small-sized lens section. |
