PURPOSE:To reduce a current stress applied to a component by separating an AC power source from a transformer side when the output current of a voltage regulating transformer flowed to charging circuit of a capacitor becomes excess, and simultaneously stopping the operations of the respective sections. CONSTITUTION:When the characteristics of a high voltage capacitor 6 is deteriorated and its impedance is decreased, a defect detector 12 delivers an operation stop command signal to firing signal generators 13, 14. When the generators 13, 14 receive the operation stop command, they turns OFF a bidirectional semiconductor switch 2, and a trial control rectifier 8 and a control rectifier 9. |
