PURPOSE:A ring for yarn spinning in which the ring flange is made of ceramic and the neck, trunk, recess for the ring rail and others than the ring flange are made of a plastic, thus having high wearing and erosion resistance with light weight. CONSTITUTION:The flange 1 is made by casting a substance composed of silicon carbide, then sintering the product at high temperature into high-hardness ceramic. In the meantime, the trunk 3 containing the recess for the ring rail 2 other than the flange 1 is made by fabricating a plastic. Then, the flange 1 and the trunk 3 are fixed together by soldering to give the objective ring 4. EFFECT:The traveller is greatly reduced in wearing and prevented from overheating. |
