PURPOSE:To inform automatically various messages selected in advance by a called subscriber telephone set to an incoming call during absence by utilizing plural message storage devices. CONSTITUTION:Accommodated position information of a specific talkie device in which a message desired to be transmitted to a caller during the absence of a subscriber A is recorded is registered in a specific storage area corresponding to the said subscriber a of a main storage device 3 through the registering operation. When an incoming call is fed to the said subscriber; e.g., an incoming call to the subscriber A exists, whether or not the accommodated position information of the talkie device is registered in the storage area corresponding to the subscriber A provided in the main storage device 3 is retrieved. As a result, when the information is registered, the talkie device corresponding to the said accommodated position information, e.g., a telephone set of a caller 50, is connected to a, e.g., telephone set 4B, the said talkie device is started and the message recorded therein is transmitted. |
