Each bracket comprises an angle whose vertical web has a slot. The slot is continued partly into the horizontal web which is fixed to the cooker frame. The sides of the slot are bordered by vertical flanges capped with horizontal rests. - The cover has a spigot sandwiched, at each corner, between two reinforcing plates. The spigots engage in the slot of each bracket. The flanges maintain the cover rigid in the vertical position. In the closed position the cover is supported on the rests.
