PURPOSE:To provide titled composition of high heat resistance and settability, comprising ethylene copolymer, wax, and tackifying resin constituted by a disproportionated rosin ester partially modified with fumaric and/or maleic acid. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) a tackifying resin constituted by disproportionated rosin ester partially modified with fumaric and/or maleic acid. (B) an ethylene copolymer (pref. copolymer from ethylene and monocarboxylic acid vinyl ester, containing 15-45wt% of polar component, with a melt index 1-500), and (C) wax. Said tackifying resin is, e.g., such one as to be 1.3-20mol% modified, based on the rosin, with fumaric or maleic acid, having a softening point 110-140 deg.C. |
