发明名称 ORTHOGONAL GAS LASER OSCILLATOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To contrive to stabilize the optical axis of laser beams, the output of a laser, etc., by a method wherein a gas flow is constituted at each of two exciting ranges in such a way that the direction of the gas flow at the exciting range on one side and the direction of the gas flow at the exciting range on the remaining side are opposed to each other, as seen from the direction of the optical axis. CONSTITUTION:Exciting ranges 1a and 1b have been respectively constituted of each one of two electrodes 2a and each one of two electrodes 2b, each one of which has been independently provided at two places. A total reflector 4 and a partial reflector 5 have been provided on both end sides on the resonance optical axis L, which passes through the center of each of the ranges 1a and 1b provided at the two places. A laser gas flow G of laser medium gas has been constituted at each of the exciting ranges 1a and 1b in such a way that the gas flows 9 mutually intersect at right angles to the optical axis L and gas flow 9 flows to a direction opposed to each other, as seen from the direction of the optical axis L. According to such a constitution, as the optical strain to generate at the exciting range 1a and the optical strain to generate at the exciting range 1b are both a substantial phenomenon due to the directional property of each of the gas flows G, the optical strains at the two places can be almost completely cancelled.
