PURPOSE:To eliminate an overthick printing while removing the generation of noise with a gentle infiltration of ink onto a screen by delivering air in stead of an inking roller provided in a plate cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An air delivery pump 2 is so arranged outside a plate cylinder 1 that a discharge path 3 of the pump 2 communicates with a shaft 4 to deliver air into the cylinder 1 via a conducting path 5. The plate cylinder 1 into which ink is fed from an ink inlet 17 turns while a paper is fed. Ink is allowed to infiltrate through a net-like rotor 12 and a screen 18 and printed on the paper through plate holes of a stencil paper 6 applied on the outer surface thereof. When ink becomes blurred, a pump motor 23 and a pump 2 are operated to deliver air into the plate cylinder 1 so that internal pressure will be raised gently to increase the printing concentration. Properly stopping the air delivery at this stage permits the continuation of the printing at an optimum concentration. EFFECT:This eliminates offset due to excessive ink. |
