PURPOSE:To have a tight winding in a winding work of interlayer insulating tape for a multilayer coil to be used in a trasformer etc., by providing a tape roll mounted at a rotary table furnished on the tape traverser with possibility of rotation. CONSTITUTION:First the tape 2 is fixed to a coil 3 on the already wound layers using a sticky tape, and the tape traverser 5 is shifted in the axial direction by turning the spindle 4 of the winding machine. At this time, the tape has an inclination with respect to the axial direction corresponding to the lead angle, so that a servo motor 17 is put in operation under a command due to the data from a controller 16 to rotate a rotary table through a pinion 15, and the orientation of the tape roll 9 is thus set along the lead angle theta1. Because stepped insulation is used, the amount of traverser movement is adopted, but the rotary table 12 is corrected to that direction as the lead angle theta2 at this time becomes small. Accordingly always a straight sendout is secured, so that slackness of the tape is prevented and coil winding can be made firmly. |
