PURPOSE:To obtain a preferable controlling characteristic by previously adding an error expected to occur by the transmitting characteristic of a current loop for a power supply command signal. CONSTITUTION:An amplitude calculator calculates the amplitude IS of 3-phase AC power source voltage to be supplied to an induction motor 2 by a torque command T*. A phase calculator 41 calculates a slip frequency omegas from the command T*, adds the frequency omegas and a motor rotating speed omegar to calculate the frequency (omega) of the supplied current, and calculates a phase signal thetas of one phase of the 3-phase AC currents. A U/V switching circuit 42 outputs the phase signal theta of the U/V phases. A current waveform generator 42 outputs a dummy signal iSD*=1/G(omega,omegas).is* of the current waveform with the signals as address inputs.
