PURPOSE:To facilitate positioning and also to increase the intensity of adhesion by reducing the height of at least one of inner and outer circumferences corresponding to the adhering area of a substrate less than a recording surface by a stage to insert a spacer there with a slight space secured with the inserting angle. CONSTITUTION:The inner and outer circumferences of disk substrates 1 and 1' have stages respectively and contain optical recording layers 2 and 2' at their projected areas. The inner circumferences of the substrates 1 and 1' are fitted and adhered to an inner circumferential spacer 3 having a swell part 3a. While the outer circumferences of those substrates are fitted and adhered to a circular outer spacer 4. The corner parts of both spacers 3 and 4 are chamfered as shown by 3b and 4a, and therefore small spaces 3c and 3b are formed when those substrates are fitted to the spacers. These space serve as pools for extra adhesive. This increases the intensity of adhesion. In addition, the positioning is facilitated for junction between the substrate and the spacer since an adhering surface is set vertical. |
