PURPOSE:To obtain a paste type pole plate having excellent rapid discharging characteristic under a low temperature and life span of repeated charging and discharging by coating a support material with the paste mixing lead powder compound, fine glass fiber, dilute sulfuric acid and water. CONSTITUTION:A support material is coated with the paste kneading lead powder compound, fine glass fiber, dilute sulfuric acid and water. For example, a solution of 180ml where fine glass fiber of 150g with average diameter of 0.7mum is dispersed into the water of 500ml is added to the lead powder compound (consisting of metal lead of 30%, lead oxide of 70%) of 1kg and they are kneaded. Moreover, these are further kneaded while adding the dilute sulfuric acid of 100ml with specific gravity of 1,260. Thereby, the lead paste including fine glass fiber of 5.4wt% can be adjusted. A lead alloy lattice body is filled with the lead paste thus obtained as a result of kneading and the positive plate is obtained through aging, drying and chemical formation. |
