PURPOSE:To obtain easily and accurately a copy having a binding a margin by moving vertically an original quide provided on the side face of a platen cover. CONSTITUTION:An original positioning guide 25 has an upper face 25a projected from an upper face 10a of a platen glass 10 to form an original positioning face 25b when a platen cover 13 is opened, and a guide moving mechanism 26 moves vertically the guide 25. When a binding margin is necessary, a binding margin setting knob 19 is rotated and set after the cover 13 is closed, and a moving belt 16 and an original 17 are moved accurately for an extent corresponding to the set binding margin as one body. Since the mechanism 26 moves the guide 25 downward preliminarily in accordance with rotation of the knob 19 before the belt 16 and the original 17 are moved in this manner, the original 17 is moved smoothly without hindrance. Thereafter, the original is copied to obtain accurately a copy having the binding margin in one side. |
