PURPOSE:To improve the operating efficiency of a burst by storing burst signal waveform information in a waveform information recording circuit during incoming of a burst signal, reading the stored content and applying demodulation processing to it by a low speed digital signal processing circuit. CONSTITUTION:Since a wave to be modulated is an anlog signal generally, after the wave is converted into a digital signal by an analog-digital converter (A/D) 1, the result is stored in an RAM11 as a storage circuit. A stored program type digital processing circuit P12 reads a program from an ROM13 and reads waveform information of the wave to be modulated from an RAM11 according to the program. The reading and processing speed of the RAM1 is set entirely independently of the signal write speed of the A/D1 to the RAM11 in this case. That is, when the wave to be modulated is an independent burst only and the RAM11 has a sufficient capacity to store the entire wave information of the burst, a signal demodulated completely is obtained however slow the processing speed of the P12 may be. |
