PURPOSE:To obtain several initial discharge voltages in one discharge tube by arranging different spacings among more than 3 electrodes put in said discharge tube. CONSTITUTION:At least more than 3 electrodes 2-4 are given in a sealed tube 1 of glass with neon as the main ingredient. Each spacing of the electrodes 2-4 is different as shown A-C (A>B>C) producing different initial discharge voltage by its combination as a result. Hence, the initial discharge voltage can be altered only by changing the electrodes in use so that handling efficiency, may be ameliorated, eliminating troubles of changing other parts. |
