摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an electrode plate with excellent causticity by processing a paste-filled electrode plate with the dispersion liquid of colloidal graphite and providing a graphite layer on the surface of the electrode plate. CONSTITUTION:An electrode plate filled with lead battery paste is processed by immersion, coating or spraying with the dispersion liquid of colloidal graphite to provide a graphite film layer 3 on the surface of the electrode plate. For example, a lattice body with a thickness of about 2mm. and having a grating enveloped by horizontal lattice skeletons 1 and vertical lattice skeletons twice as rough as that of the lattice body for a conventional car battery is filled with positive electrode storage battery paste 2, then it is immersed in the aqueous dispersion liquid of colloidal graphite containing the solid constituent of about 20% and processed to form a graphite layer 3 with a thickness of about 100mu on both faces of the electrode plate. Thereby, the weakpoint that the causticity and discharge performance is inferior when using a lightweight lattice with the rough grating of lattice skeletons can be solved by providing a graphite layer on both faces of the electrode plate.
