PURPOSE:To attain a continuous line throughout a scanning region even in case of a positional deviation by scanning double the scanning switching regions on both sides of the boundary point of each partial scanning region with scanning lights of adjacent partial scanning regions and obtaining the energy sum of two beams in the switching region. CONSTITUTION:When start points of partial scanning regions A1 and A2 are denoted as X2 and X1 and end points of them are denoted as X1 and X3, optical beams overlap each other in a switching scanning region A3. Since the irradiation energy of optical beams in the region A3 is the sum of irradiation energies of regions A1 and A2, a recording picture is continuous near boundaries between regions A1 and A2. Since the irradiation energy in the region A3 is the sum of energies, a continuous line is attained throughout the scanning region even if a positional deviation in the main scanning or sub-scanning direction exists between regions A1 and A2. |
