PURPOSE:To improve the separation of blood clot from serum by adding a specified cyclic organic compound having two adjacent carbonyl groups and an organic compound or an organic polymer having a amine salt or quaternary nitrogen to blood to coagulate the blood of a patient administered with heparin for a short time. CONSTITUTION:A compound having adjacent carbonyl groups solidly on the same plane as given by the formula I (A represents allotrope-cyclic or heterocyclic group on a monocyclic or heterocyclic basis having two adjacent carbonyl compounds shown by the residual group of a cyclic compound), for example, a compound of the formula II (R<5> is alkyl) and a polymer having an amine salt of the formula III and quarternary N of the formula IV are added to a fresh blood. This enables the separation of blood clot from serum for a short time with better yields not only in the blood of a normal person but also in the sample blood of a person to be inspected administered with heparin in a pure manner without mixing of cells or the like into the serum. |
