PURPOSE:To reduce an oscillating sound, by a method wherein a silencing material is held between an exhaust pipe and an outside pipe, and a pocketlike body which is protruded to an inner circumferential surface side of the exhaust pipe and on a part of which opposing to a flow of exhaust gas an inflow opening of the exhaust gas is formed is communicated with each of holes of the exhaust pipe. CONSTITUTION:A silencing material 4 such as glass fiber is held in a space between an exhaust pipe 1 on a circumferential surface of which a large number of holes is formed and an outside pipe 3. A pocketlike body 6 which is protruded to an inner circumferential surface side of the exhaust pipe and on a part of which opposing to a flow of exhaust gas F an inflow opening 5 of the exhaust gas is formed is communicated with each of holes. With this construction, when the exhaust gas passes through the exhaust pipe, it flows in through the inflow opening 5 and flows into a silencing material through the hole 2. Volume of the exhaust gas, therefore is increased and turned into low pressure, through which it becomes that generation of an exhaust sound is controlled. |
