PURPOSE:To form a forming material into a waveform shape by pressing said material with circular lower dies which are attached in plurality slidably apart from each other to a horizontal revolving shaft and circular upper dies which are attached slidably to a freely vertically movable horizontal shaft for pressurization and are meshed with the lower dies. CONSTITUTION:A forming material A having a true cylindrical shape is placed on circular lower dies 2, 2'-. When a horizontal shaft 6 for pressurization is lowered, circular upper dies 7, 7' press the material A to deform the same and at the same time the dies 2, 2' are rotated by a motor 10 to rotate the material A, thereby deforming the material to the waveform shape uniform over the entire circumference. The press load in this stage is received by the dies 2, 2' and is supported to a head 5 by means of receiving bases 4, 4'- for the lower dies via free rolls 3, 3'-. The circular dies 7, 7', 2, 2'- move toward the center according to the deformation, thereby pressing the material A to the shape of the dies. The circumferential end of the material A is pressed by pushers 8, 8' and is moved toward the center. The material A is pressed to the waveform shape irrespective of the diameter thereof and the length of the flat plate. |
