摘要 A robotic arm comprises a series of units each unit having spaced mounting plates (A, E) interconnected by a link bar (C) of fixed length and two link bars (G) each adjustable in length. Each link bar (G) has two relatively threaded sections and the effective length of each bar (G) is varied by rotatably driving one section by a corresponding electric motor (L), thereby to cause controlled relative angular tilting of adjacent mounting plates and resultant manoeuvring of the arm.
