<p>The audio-visual cassette is divided by a horizontal partition (2). Underneath are the magnetic tape (9) and the tape spools. Above are two compartments for the film spools (21, 24) with space between for the projection lamp. The film can be for stereoscopy. The reproducing equipment has drive rollers (17) for the magnetic tape and two reproducing heads (16, 16'). It also has drives for the co-axial tape- and film-spools, and a latch which holds the film still when required by catching in its perforations. The signals for holding and releasing the film drive are on the magnetic tape, either on the second track or, with suitable filtering in the reproducer, on the main one.</p> |
