PURPOSE:To heat a photosensitive body uniformly by fitting a magnetic drum whose surface is composed of a permanent magnet to the same shaft with the photosensitive drum in the photosensitive drum, and rotating it at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive drum 7 is fitted to the shaft 8 by using ball bearings 9 and 9', and a drum gear 10 is provided to one end side to rotate the drum with driving force from the driving gear. On the other hand, the magnetic drum 11 which has an external diameter a little bit smaller than the internal diameter of the drum 7 and also has the outer circumferential surface made of the permanent magnet is fixed in the photosensitive drum 7 to the shaft 8 where the photosensitive drum 7 is fixed. While the photosensitive drum 7 is held still before the copying machine main body enters an in-use state, the magnetic drum 11 is rotated at a high speed by using part of the driving means of the machine frame to generate an eddy current 12 in the conductive layer of the photosensitive drum 11, and the photosensitive body is heated; when the copying machine main body enters the in-use state, the magnetic drum 11 is stopped and only the photosensitive drum 7 is rotated at specific copy cycles. |
