<p>A circuit for the generation of a sawtooth current in a coil especially in a television receiver, which is simple and cheap to produce. The coil forms part of a resonant circuit in known manner operating during the flyback period of the sawtooth and condensers are provided to affect the rising and falling sections. The energy stored in magnetic form in the inductance (La) at the end of each forward stroke of the sawtooth is transferred to the parallel resonant circuit during the following flyback period. Energy is transferred through a reactance having a condenser (C3) of such capacity that the resonant circuit formed by this condenser and the inductance (La) between the input voltage source (Vb) and the switch (T1) has a period in the range of the saw-tooth period. The condenser (C3) forms the main component of this reactance.</p> |
