<p>PURPOSE:To enable high-speed response and instantaneous start by facing one end of a bundle of optical fibers to a halogen lamp and the other end to the light shutter section of a liq. crystal light valve. CONSTITUTION:A light source is composed of a halogen lamp 16, an optical filter and a bundle 20 of optical fibers. One end of the bundle 20 is faced to the lamp 16, and the other end to the light shutter section 23 of a liq. crystal light valve. The response speed of the liq. crystal is increased, and the high energy light source is instantaneously stabilized, so high-speed response and instantaneous start can be carried out.</p> |
