PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent storage stability without spoiling the polishing characteristic of an abrasive material by incorporating further a flocculating agent into a dispersant. CONSTITUTION:A flocculating agent flocculates and settles quickly by forming the secondary particles of abrasive particles, for which an ordinary flocculating agent like an inorg. flocculating agent such as aluminum sulfate, ferrous sulfate, ferric sulfate, polysodium chloride, sodium aluminate or the like and a high polymer flocculating agent such as polyacrylamide, sodium polyacrylate or the like is usable. The amt. of the flocculating agent to be added is usually 0.5- 3wt., more preferably 1-2wt. conventional known abrasives and dispersants are usable and are exemplified by, for example aluminum oxide, cerium oxide, titanium oxide, or the like as the abrasive and isopropyl alcohol or the like as the dispersant. |
