PURPOSE:To enable reciprocal driving of piston without requiring such member as penetrating through the wall of piston chamber by exchanging the direction of movable field while to reduce the size by eliminating a seal and mechanical means between an engine and piston. CONSTITUTION:Upon sequential application of voltage across a coil 3 to form a field movable from the right to the left through an electrode 3, a piston 2 is driven to the left to push out the left side liquid through a delivery valve 7 while to suck the liquid to the right side through a suction valve 6. Consequently, in this stroke, liquid is sucked through the suction port 9 and delivered through a delivery port 14. Upon reaching to the end, the moving direction of field is revesed to move the piston 2 to the right thus to deliver the liquid through a delivery valve 8 and suck to the left side chamber through a suction valve 5. Consequently, the piston 2 can be reciprocated without requiring a member penetrating through the wall of the piston chamber 1 while a seal and mechanical means between an engine and piston 2 can be eliminated resulting in considerable reduction of size. |
