PURPOSE:To improve the disk exchanging speed and to attain the assured actuation of an automatic disk changing device by calculating each output of a pair of optical reflection sensors which perform positioning of a tray storing disk to control the driving of the tray, and storing a large number of disks with small capacity. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed one of many disks stored to a tray 100 is automatically selected, and a tray driving mechanism 150 shifts the tray 100 to send the selected disk to a reproduction part. An optical reflection sensor part 174 is attached opposite to a reflecting plate 108 for access at the back side of a tray main body 103. The reflection sensor reads a reflection pattern which gives 50 addresses and shift the tray 100 via the mechanism 150 so as to obtain a prescribed access position. Therefore, the tray can be positioned with 0.25mm. accuracy. In such a way, the disk exchanging speed is improved and the assured actuation of an automatic disk changing device is attained. |
