PURPOSE:To obtain a sliding contact material with superior wear resistance by adding specified amounts of Mn and one or more among In, Sn, Sb, P, Ti and Zr to a Pd-Ag alloy having a specified composition without changing the ratio in the composition. CONSTITUTION:A sliding contact material is obtd. by adding 1-10wt% Mn and 0.1-3wt% one or more among In, Sn, Sb, P, Ti and Zr to a Pd-Ag alloy material consisting of 30-70wt% Pd and 30-70wt% Ag without changing the ratio in the composition. An Fe group metal such as Ni may be substituted for 0.01- 0.5wt% of the Mn. |
