PURPOSE:To improve development quality by arranging a magnetic correcting body which corrects the magnetic field of a magnet roller oppositely to a magnet roller with the moving path of a recording medium between. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic correcting body 8 which corrects the magnetic field of the magnet roller 3 is arranged the magnet roller 3 while the moving path of the recording madium 2 is interposed. Part of magnetic flux from one magnetic pole on the magnet roller 3 which comes close to the magnetic correcting body 8 piercess the magnetic correcting body 8 to enter other magnetic pole. Consequently, the magnetic flux varies in responding to the rotation of the magnet roller 3. Mamely, the magnetic flux increases in density near the magnetic correcting body 8 and the direction of the line of magnetic force becomes almost perpendicular to the magnetic correcting body 8 to upstanding tuft a carrier sticking to the circumferential surface of a roller 3 between the magnetic poles. Consequently, the carrier is upstanding tufted to enough height even when the diameter of the magnet roller 3 is decreased, and the interval between the recording medium 2 and magnet roller 3 is adjusted easily to improve the development quality. |
