PURPOSE:To reduce the time required for restarting remarkably by operating only a feeding means of take-out rollers without operating a feeding means from a tray when a starting command is issued within a preveiously set time after a stopping command for supplying sheets of paper. CONSTITUTION:When a copying operation is restarted after suspension of the operation, a copying switch is again turned on. In this case, if the time from the suspension to the turning-on of the switch is short, an original document O is judged to be left as arrived at take-out rollers 36 and, by clocking the duration from the point of suspension, if the switch is turned on within a certain period of time, a feeding operation from a tray 33 to the take-out rollers 36 is not conducted, but a feeding operation by means of the take-out rollers 36 is carried out, reducing the time required for restarting. |
