PURPOSE:To prevent generation of a copying error by providing a display means which makes display by continuous lighting in the stage of an unmagnification mode and by flickering in the stage of a variable power mode and resetting automatically the variable power mode to the unmagnification mode upon lapse of prescribed time after the end of copying in the variable power mode. CONSTITUTION:A power source pilot 1 is lighted and a copying machine is warmed up when a power source switch is turned on. Copying is feasible from the end of the warm-up till print key on in a timing chart and the print key is lighted blue. The operator does not touch operation keys during this time and therefore the copiable stand- by state is displayed automatically in a standard operation mode. When the operator turns on the print key to perform copying in an unmagnification copy mode, the blue pilot lamp of the print key is put out and the red lamp is lighted. When the operator turns on, for example, a reduction 1 key in the case of a variable power mode, the unmagnification lamp is put out and the reduction 1 lamp is lighted. The print key is then flickered blue. When the operator pushes the print key in this state, the key is lighted red and is again flickered blue upon ending of the copying. Since the print key is flickered in different colors in the above-mentioned way, easy checking is made possible. |
