PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency by providing a new winding to return the exciting energy of a transformer to a power source, thereby improving the reliability of a drive device. CONSTITUTION:A GTO1 is turned ON by a current through a switch circuit 11 from a power source 10, and turned OFF by turning OFF the switch circuit 11 to turn ON a transistor 5 provided in a transformer 4 and flowing a reverse current to the ON time through a passage 12. A snubber circuit 12 for protecting at the turning OFF time is provided at both ends of the GTO1, and a circuit 7 for suppressing the back swinging voltage rise at the OFF time of the transistor 5 is provided. In this case, the third winding 4C and a blocking diode 14 are provided at the transformer 4 for supplying the OFF gate current, and the exciting energy when the transistor 5 is turned OFF is returned to the capacitor 2. |
