PURPOSE:To obtain earthquake-proof retaining wall durable against earth pressures by using a block consisting of a surface part, a stay part in which H- shaped slabs are arranged into a V-shape, a reinforcement part, four tops, two bottoms, and deformed steel bars for screw between the ends of the stays. CONSTITUTION:The block for a frame retaining wall consists of a surface part 1, a stay part 2 in which two H-shaped steel fiber-reinforced concrete slabs are arranged into V-shape, a reinforcement part 3 leading from the back 1' of the surface part 1 to the end of the stay part 2, four tops of an extended rectangular plate form, two bottoms 5, and deformed steel bars for screws between ends of the stay parts 2. The right sides of two bottom slabs of single block 21 in the second stage and the left sides of two bottom slabs of the block 22 are fitted into a total four top slabs of 12 blocks in the lowest stage, and two bottom slabs of the block 3 in the third stage are fitted into the top slabs of the blocks 21 and 22 and clamped with bolts. |
