PURPOSE:To provide the titled nutrient composition for preoperative or postoperative administration through the tracts, having excellent properties from the nutrient point of view and improved digestibility, by using proteins, saccharides, lipids, vitamins and minerals as main components and adding a specific amount of a specific oil or fat as the lipid. CONSTITUTION:The objective nutrient composition for administration through the tracts is composed of proteins (e.g. egg protein), saccharides (e.g. starch), lipids, vitamins and minerals as main components, wherein said lipids are composed of (i) 10-70(wt)% oil or fat (e.g. lard oil, macherel oil, etc.) containing <=5% saturated triglyceride and >=15% palmitic acid (>=45% of palmitic acid is bonded to 2-position of glycerol), (2) 5-50% medium-chain triglyceride (6-12C medium fatty acid glycerol ester) and (3) 10-70% animal or vegetable oil or fat (e.g. coconut oil) other than the components 1 and 2. |
