PURPOSE:To prevent clotting onto the surface of a gas permeable diaphragm of an electrode for measuring dissolved gaseous oxygen and a gas permeable membrane of an electrode for measuring dissolved gaseous carbon dioxide and to maintain said diaphragms clean by disposing said diaphragms so as to face each other and providing a rotor in such a way as to contact with both diaphragms. CONSTITUTION:A device 3 for measuring concn. of dissolved gaseous carbon dioxide and a device 4 for measuring concn. of dissolved gaseous oxygen are inserted into a cell having a sample chamber 1 in the central part through the apertures on both sides thereof and are fixed therein. A magnetic rotor 31 is provided on the opposed surfaces of gas permeable membranes 8, 21 of both devices in such a way as to contact with both membranes, then is rotated by a driving device 3. A liquid to be examined is fed through a feed path 5 into the chamber 1 with such device and the concn. of the gaseous carbon dioxide and the concn. of the gaseous oxygen in the liquid to be examined are measured by measuring devices 3, 4. The rotor 31 is rotated and driven by a driving device 32 in this stage to rub both diaphragms so that the diaphragms are maintained always clean without clogging the diaphragm by clotting even if the liquid to be examined is a blood. |
