PURPOSE:To prepare a polysulfone separation membrane having high water permeability and sufficient mechanical strength, by containing 20-90wt% of propylene carbonate in the solvent of a polysulfone solution. CONSTITUTION:Polysulfone having a repeating unit represented by one of general formulae shown by the drawing is used. A solvent may be alone or a mixture and N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone generating no evaporation and decomposition in dissolving propylene carbonate and added polysulfone is pref. used. The mixing weight ratio of the solvent and propylene carbonate is pref. 80:20-10:90(wt%). The mixing ratio of polysulfone and the solvent is pref. set so as to adjust the concn. of polysulfone to 10-30wt%. Water and alcohols are used as a coagulation liquid. |
