PURPOSE:To reduce the scattering of the cut length of a work from the cut length set, by numerically controlling the cut length. CONSTITUTION:In the dimension control for a shearing machine in which a workpiece and a tool rest equipped with a cutting edge, the both feed speeds are made equal by always keeping constant the difference between the feed per stroke of the workpiece and the feed per stroke of the tool rest after cutting instruction signal is generated. The cut length of the work is determinded according to the length of the work which travels during the time when the cutting instruction signal (b) generated by the first counter 11 is generated. The work can be cut with high accuracy into the length set on a cut-length setting device 12 connected to the first counter 11. |
